WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR USED EQUIPMENT?

We depend on customers like you for all our quality used gear! Bring in the gear you no longer use and we’ll pay you on the spot. Then we can offer it to someone else who can use it…at a great value. Reuse. Recycle. Replay.

WHAT TYPE OF SPORTS GEAR DO YOU BUY?

We buy a wide variety of quality used sports & fitness gear. If a sport is played in our community and we have room for it, we buy it.

HOW MUCH WILL I GET FOR MY GEAR?

It depends. Our buying prices take many factors into consideration, including brand, condition, age of item, demand, current inventory level & time of year. In most cases, used items resell between 40-60% of what the would sell for new today. We typically pay between 25-50% of what we will try to resell an item for in either cash or credit. You get more value for your gear by trading in or taking store credit. Create your own discount by going this route.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO BUY MY STUFF?

In most cases, we can get your gear evaluated between 5-10 minutes. If you have a large quantity of equipment or we are busy, it could take a little longer. 

HOW DO I GET PAID FOR MY GEAR?

We can pay you on the spot (either cash or a check, depending upon the amount) or offer you a store credit for trade. We also offer consignment on select items. We usually resell our used items for about 40-60% of what they would sell for new today. You would receive 30-50% of that amount.

DO YOU BUY SPORTS GEAR OUT OF SEASON?

Yes! We buy all sports gear all year long. Items brought in right before or during their respective season are considered more valuable & likely to garner more in cash/trade. We do become more selective on seasonal equipment at the end of or right after their respective season, such as ski & snowboard gear from March-July, but we will never turn away high-quality used gear.

DO YOU ONLY SELL USED EQUIPMENT?

We have both new and used product in our inventory. We have new product to fill in the gaps where we don’t get enough quality used equipment and to satisfy the customers who would prefer new equipment at a great price. We are always looking for more used sports and fitness equipment so please bring your gear in today so we can make you an offer!

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR NEW EQUIPMENT?

All of our stores are individually owned, but we have the buying power of nearly 400 stores when we purchase new gear & top brands from the same vendors as our competitors. We can offer you the same competitive pricing on new product as the big box locations, and we still give you the individual attention you expect from a locally-owned business.

DOES YOUR USED EQUIPMENT COME WITH A WARRANTY?

Most of our used equipment is sold 'as is'. We have a strict & thorough buying process to ensure we are putting high-quality product on our floor. 

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO SELL MY GEAR?

Not at all. Any hour we're open, we are buying. For large quantity buys or big fitness equipment, we ask to bring it in no later than a half hour before we close.

YOU BUY EQUIPMENT. BUT WHAT ABOUT CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR?

Good question. There is a gray area of items we buy that aren't necessarily considered equipment. We do buy performance apparel & winter outerwear. These items are primarily used in activities rather than streetwear, are name brand (i.e. Nike, Burton, Patagonia, Under Armour, The North Face), & are made of technical fabrics. We always buy baseball, football, & soccer cleats, as well as name brand hiking boots, climbing shoes, track spikes, cycling shoes, & current style golf shoes. As for running/training shoes, we are extremely picky. They must be in near-new condition, with little sole wear & of current style. 

ARE THERE ANY ITEMS YOU DO NOT BUY?

Actually, there is. Some examples include Nordictrack ski machines, Bowflex resistance cable workout stations, Gazelle trainers, & any ab-specific workout equipment (such as the Ab Lounge). We also do not take home gyms with attached weight stacks, primarily because we simply do not have sufficient space in our store. We also do not buy or sell firearms in any capacity.
